“Labels Are For Filing. Labels Are For Clothing. Labels Are Not For People.” -Martina Navratilova
The Lifeline Project is a support network for youth ages 13-18 living life in the LGBT community. The goal is to foster a commitment to youth which will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future.
“Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on the path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.”
Inspire pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and instill a sense of hope in the future for youth.
Expand the perspective of youth to make them aware of life’s possibilities.
Empower youth in establishing goals and following through on commitments.
An individual is dramatically influenced by their support system. We desire to surround youth in a caring, inclusive learning environment.
